Byberg is back!! The annual preaching workshop is scheduled for January 23-25, 2023 in Seaside Oregon.

The 2023 main speaker is Rev. Traci Blackmon. Rev. Blackmon is the Associate General Minister of Justice & Local Church Ministries for The United Church of Christ and Senior Pastor of Christ The King United Church of Christ in Florissant, MO. She is a powerful preacher who was recently featured at the Festival of Homiletics. Rev. Blackmon also has extensive pastoral experience on the national stage helping communities of color, and our nation as a whole, work through the strong social and institutional challenges and weaknesses that have brought us to this time of intense partisan turmoil.

Also! Br. Stefan Andre Waligur is onboard to be our Chaplain and Musician. Br. Stefan is a contemplative musician and composer.

He was classically trained at the New England Conservatory, graduated from Eastern Theological Seminary, did post-graduate work in Ireland and Scotland, and had a life changing visit to the Taize Community in France. His music for congregational singing uses American rhythms, Celtic melodies and the call and response style of Indian Kirtan.
