Update on Tumaini Lutheran School
On December 5, 18 Secondary School student of Tumaini Lutheran School graduated from Form 4 (roughly equivalent to graduating from high school) and 8 Bible School students completed their studies to become an Evangelist (those who serve in a parish under a Pastor’s supervision to spread the Gospel). The graduation was able to take place in the nearly completed Assembly and Dining Hall! Hongera sana wanafunzi! Mugu aende pamoja nao!! Congratulations dear students! May God go with you!

The Southeastern Synod, ELCA hosted a conversation around “Becoming the body of Christ where all bodies are valued: A conversation around the ELCA’s resolution to condemn White Supremacy.” Bishop Strickland was joined by Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton. In observance of Veterans Day, ELCA Presiding Bishop Elizabeth Eaton invites congregations to hold a Sunday of prayer and action.
